WOW …

I am in the Lake Norman/Davidson area for the weekend to visit with my college girlfriends who lived in Park Place our senior year. We call ourselves the “Wasabies.”

This afternoon we attended TEDTalk style talks with multiple Davidson women graduates plus the president emeritus Carol Quinlan. They were excellent. I’ll try to post them later.

Afterwards, I walked the labyrinth in Hobart Park. This park was re-dedicated in 2008 to our classmate Ed Goode.

I walked with my roommate, Julie McPherson.

It was a beautiful day at Davidson. The school was past peak leaf weekend, but still gorgeous. The sky was very very blue, and there was a great deal of noise from students, leaves, and even crows cawing.

It was just nice to slow down and think for a bit. Wow, wow, wow!
